HEHR was started by David Pace, who owns and operates Straight Nails Construction. Through the Holy Spirit, David was led to start a ministry that will help those in need (specifically elderly) that cannot afford to make repairs due to lack of funds, or unexpected circumstances.

Helping the Elderly was incorporated on March 13th, 2013, but the dream (vision) was started almost two years prior. Through patience, Godly guidance, much prayer and support, we have now become a 501(c)3 ministry. David entered full time guidance of the ministry in April of 2020.

Our IRS application has been accepted and approved as of November 2013. We achieved 501(c)3 status, which makes all donations tax deductible under section 170 of the Code.
